Patriots Gear
Get ready for the mat.
A simple guide to the equipment wrestlers need, what is optional, and where to find current Patriots team gear.
What your wrestler needs
Wrestling does not require a lot of equipment. Start with the essentials, then add team gear or optional items as your wrestler gets more involved.
Wrestling Shoes
Wrestling-specific shoes provide grip and flexibility on the mat. A comfortable fit matters more than buying the most expensive pair.
Practice Clothing
Athletic shorts and a fitted athletic shirt or T-shirt work well. Avoid clothing with zippers, pockets or anything that can catch during practice.
Headgear
Headgear requirements vary by practice and competition. Coaches will communicate what is required for your wrestler’s events.
